Attending ITC eLearning 2009 Conference earlier this week, the last session focused on The Nature of Mobile Learning delivered by Jeff Kissinger. Generally, the session focused on the design principles and implementation logistics behind a mobile learning project completed with a division of the armed services. I spent much of the session asking and discussing several questions that came to mind. I wanted to repost some of the themes through the live blog and my questions/thoughts in this space for broader feedback and discussion. Several resources may be useful. Device Specificity. One of the characteristics of early mobile learning efforts Jeff described was the tendency to develop content for a specific device; in fact, it was mentioned twice on one of his early slides. More >
