I’ll come back and post notes, hopefully.  AJ Kelton, Montclair State University, hosts a weekly Second Life Education Roundtable (SLER) discussion; this week, he’s arranged an impressive panel discussion described below.

I’m very pleased to announce a special start-of-the-year SL Education Roundtable.  The date is Tuesday, January 6th starting at 2:30pm SLT in our usual place on the Montclair State CHSSSouth Island.

This SLER meeting will be a bit different than others. The title of these event is

“Possible, probable, and preferable futures of Education in Virtual Worlds”

The first part will be a panel discussion followed by an audience interactive portion which I will moderate.  Our special, and quite amazing, panel consists of:

  • Chris Collins (Fleep Tuque)
  • Anthony Fontana (AnthonyFontana Chevalier)
  • AJ Kelton (AJ Brooks) – Moderator
  • Jeremy Kemp (Jeremy Kabumpo)
  • Daniel Livingston (Buddy Sprocket)
  • Jonathon Richter (Wainbrave Bernal)
  • Sarah Robbins-Bell (Intellagirl Tully)

2009 promises to be an amazing year, why not start it off with an amazing event!

Hope to see you there,
aj
